Happy Happy Smiling Smiling

Happy Happy Smiling Smiling. this was what two crew members said on the Alaska cruise that i went for 2 months back when they saw anyone sad or upset. They said it in such a sweet tone that it was enough even to make a one spread one’s lips wide and smile. If you go to see these are just two simple words but can have such a impact. There is only positivity attached to them. Every time they are spoken they are sure to lighten up one’s mood and give one the strength to face the difficulties.

Every person rich-poor, small-big, employed-unemployed, judge- criminal, in love-not in love,socialite-loner , priest-disciple, teacher-student has problems , sorrows , screw ups to handle and deal with. Its just that some are better at living through the circumstances what so ever they may be.The only difference is that these people happily smile on the face of their problem and throw it out of the window. Those who cannot do so cry and sulk about even a small thing like tooth ache.

One should remember that he/she is not the only one going through a tough time. There are millions of others suffering and probably much more than one can imagine. One should realise that if each one of us start talking about and giving importance to our problems the world will be a glum place to live in. One has to move on, so why not happy happy smiling smiling. With a smile one not only makes his/ her day worth living but also emits vibrancy and energy for others around.

So whats bothering you, a head ache, fight with a sibling, exam tension, work pressure, no job, loneliness, no goal no aim, relationship issues, heavy losses etc etc, forget it all. Give your loved ones a Jaado ki Jhappi every morning, say all is well step out happy happy smiling smiling to sort out your stressful life and make each moment worth living.

CWG- Finally on the wayyy

Today3rd October 2010 is the day when the prestigious COMMONWEALTH GAMES finally kicked off at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in the capital city of India, New Delhi. Every Indian would have felt proud when this chance was bestowed upon India , but do we all fell the same any more???
This question should have never come up had the preparations and the build up to the event not been as messy as it has been. First and foremost the time deadlines in completing the games village were far from met. In fact until last week the arrangements were not as required. The living conditions can best be described as pathetic. The rooms were not clean enough. Stray dogs were found on the beds. There were stains and spit marks found around the place, unclean bedsheets etc etc. Worst of all a walk over bridge just collapsed and caused many casualties.
Well whatever happened is the past now. Now that the games have begun today, its time to cheer along and support them. Yes, its been quite humiliating and shameful till today but now we all Indians should get up and with a positive spirit back not only the Indian contingent but the games as a whole to salvage some lost pride.
